Jennifer Marth, LMFT 52329 Education and Licensing I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology and a Master's of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Stanislaus. I chose to earn a degree in counseling psychology due to my own experiences with trauma and life challenges, as many therapists do. I knew I wanted to work with people in a way that helped them feel seen in their experience and create hope for a fulfilling life in spite of difficult experiences. I continue to grow in my understanding of myself though personal therapy and continuing education in the field of psychology. I have been licensed in the state of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2012. I am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and trained in Trauma Focused CBT. I have worked in Tuolumne, Sacramento and Placer Counties treating children, teens, and adults. I was a co-facilitator of a Dialectical Behavior Therapy group for at risk young women, facilitated crisis assessments in emergency room/jail settings to determine if individuals required hospitalization for their safety/the safety of others, and was a therapist for a non-profit agency contracted with the county to provide intensive community-based mental health services to children, teens, young adults and their families. Life Outside of Session Outside of session, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our blended family of 4 children. As a family, we like to play boardgames, play ping pong, travel, and spend time in our loft/music room where the kids can make lots of noise! I like to go to concerts, explore new music, and spend time with friends,
